NEW BRUNSWICK -- Authorities are investigating the death of man who has died after he and another man were shot earlier this week, according to a statement from the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
Marcos Hernandez, 33, of Passaic, was shot on Drift Street Monday at around 6:30 p.m. He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where on Wednesday he died on his injuries, officials said.
A 27-year-old man also shot in the incident on Drift Street remains at a hospital.
No arrests have been made, officials said, but the matter remains under investigation by the New Brunswick Police Department and the county prosecutor's office.
