Police say a Rutgers student is allegedly responsible for throwing a drink in the face of a Taco Bell worker earlier this month.
MILLTOWN -- A Rutgers student has been charged with throwing a large drink in the face of Taco Bell drive-thru worker earlier this month, according to a report by MyCentralJersey.com.
Cole Cadigan -- an 18-year-old student at Rutgers University's New Brunswick campus -- faces a simple assault charge, a disorderly persons offense, the report said.
Cadigan allegedly tossed his drink in a worker's face, and then drove off laughing.
Police, who said they identified and charged a man suspected in the incident last week, initially would not release the name of the suspect.
According to a previous report, Cadigan was driving a newer version of a Ford F-150 truck with "a Rutgers University parking hang-tag ... visible in the windshield."
