Tuesday morning the prosecution and defense attorneys have been questioning jurors to sit on the panel for Michelle Lodzinski's murder trial.

NEW BRUNSWICK -- The efforts to find the final juror in the trial of Michelle Lodzinski for the murder of her 5-year-old son Timothy Wiltsey in 1991 have so far eluded the prosecution and defense.

Both sides have been at it for most of Tuesday morning. They will resume their search at 1:30 p.m. before Superior Court Judge Dennis Nieves.

Nieves is hoping to have a jury sworn in Tuesday afternoon and have both sides make opening remarks in a case that is expected to take about four months to try.

When Timmy Wiltsey was reported missing in May 1991, his disappearance made national headlines and residents in Middlesex County formed groups to help authorities look for him.

Wiltsey's remains, primarily his skull, were found in a marshy area in Raritan Center in Edison, about five miles from where he disappeared, 11 months after his disappearance.

Lodzinski, now 47, was charged in August 2014 with the death of her son, whom she reported missing the evening of May 25, 1991 from a carnival in Sayreville. She told police he disappeared when she went to a stand to buy soda.
