Michelle Lodzinski's murder trial started its second week.
NEW BRUNSWICK -- The second week of a former New Jersey woman's murder trial began Tuesday.
Michelle Lodzinski, accused of killing her 5-year-old son, Timmy Wiltsey in 1991, was back in court before Superior Court Judge Dennis Nieves. Timmy was reported missing from a carnival in Sayreville; his body was found 11 months later in Edison.
The morning began with a heated dispute between Middlesex County prosecutors and Lodzinski's defense attorney, Gerald Krovatin, over a dog bite -- and whether that evidence would be presented at trial.
That was followed by testimony from George Wiltsey, the young boy's father, who was not involved in the boy's life.
