The crash involved two cars and a U-Haul truck, witnesses said. Watch video
EDISON --Edison police are investigating a serious accident that injured at least two people Tuesday afternoon.
The crash on Division Street at Lincoln Highway involved a U-Haul truck and two other vehicles.
The U-Haul truck had broadsided a dark-colored vehicle on the driver's side. Police later covered the dark-covered vehicle with a red tarp.
A woman who works in a store in a nearby strip mall said she ran to see what was going on when she heard a loud crash shortly before 2 p.m.
The woman, who declined to give her name, said she saw police tending to the occupants of the U-Haul truck and the car that it hit. A third vehicle, a white Ford SUV, was stopped just up the road in front of Festival Plaza and its occupant was taken to the hospital by ambulance, the woman said.
Edison police had not immediately returned a call for details about the crash.
