A multiple-vehicle crash shut down Route 1 South in South Brunswick Sunday morning.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK -- A multiple-vehicle crash shut down Route 1 South at New Road around 11:15 a.m. Sunday, according to officials.
The roadway was reopened at around 11:40 a.m., according to a statement from police.
Three cars were believed to have been involved in the crash, according to an official at the South Brunswick Police Department.
Injuries resulted but were not considered life threatening, officials said. The extent of the injuries is not known at this time.
Police were at the scene as of about 11:30 a.m.
