The Michelin Company moved back to France in 1930.
MILLTOWN -- A baseball game is in progress at Michelin Athletic Field in Milltown in this photo from 1907.
The field was maintained by the tire company that had purchased the International A&V Rubber Factory in Milltown that year.
A 2009 article on nj.com noted that Michelin was greatly affected by the Great Depression and moved back to France in 1930.
