A New Jersey man was shot and killed by another truck driver during a road-rage incident in Florida on Saturday afternoon.
George Guerrero, 44, of Perth Amboy, was shot three times, including once in the head along Interstate 10 in Jacksonville at about 1:50 p.m, according to a report on WKOV.com.
Guerrero was traveling east between Commerce Parkway and Chaffee Road when he changed lanes after proceeding through a construction area, according to Jacksonville.com.
The driver of a semi-truck hauling a 53-foot trailer then pulled alongside Guerrero, bumped his truck and began shooting, according to Jacksonville.com.
Guerrero's truck then left the road before coming to rest in a wooded area off the highway.
Guerrero's dog Aria, who often traveled with him, was unharmed.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads them to the shooter, according to News4Jax.com.
