A New Jersey man was shot and killed by another truck driver during a road-rage incident in Florida on Saturday afternoon.
George Guerrero, 44, of Perth Amboy, was shot three times, including once in the head along Interstate 10 in Jacksonville at about 1:50 p.m, according to a report on WKOV.com.
George Guerrero of Perth Amboy was shot and killed by another truck driver on Saturday in Jacksonville, Fla. Guerrero was traveling east between Commerce Parkway and Chaffee Road when he changed lanes after proceeding through a construction area, according to Jacksonville.com.
The driver of a semi-truck hauling a 53-foot trailer then pulled alongside Guerrero, bumped his truck and began shooting, according to Jacksonville.com.
Guerrero's truck then left the road before coming to rest in a wooded area off the highway.
Guerrero's dog Aria, who often traveled with him, was unharmed.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads them to the shooter, according to News4Jax.com.
