East Brunswick police have arrested several juveniles in connection with a string of crimes that authorities say date back to April.
EAST BRUNSWICK -- The township police department on Tuesday said it had brought a stop to a string of juvenile crimes spanning from April to June.
Detectives last week had gathered enough evidence to charge five juvenile suspects in six separate crimes, according to a statement from the police department.
The crimes, according to officials, included two residential burglaries, three acts of criminal mischief at two residences and a motor vehicle, and an act of arson to a Dumpster at a shopping center.
The five suspects, who were not named due to their juvenile status, were released to their parents after being charged, the statement said.
The investigation was handled by East Brunswick detectives Crispin Farrace and Joe Bauer with the assistance of patrolmen Chris Williams and Rodney Tillery.
