The first Pakistan Day Parade in Edison took place last year.
EDISON -- The Pakistan Day Parade started in Edison on Oak Tree Road and included more than a dozen floats and hundreds of marchers in the parade.
"It brings people together refreshing memories of home, " said Ozair Omarzai.
The American flag was everywhere and helped lead the parade followed by the flag of Pakistan.

"The parade teaches our kids strong values and the diversity of America," Omarzai said.
Float riders waved flags and danced to Pakistani music and cars were covered with flags.
Parade organizer Najee Khan said the parade had more participants this year, the second year of the parade, than last year.
