SOUTH BRUNSWICK --Police are investigating the death of a Pennsylvania man whose body was found in a motel room on Route 1 Thursday afternoon.
The results of an autopsy on 22-year-old Austin Eyer of East Stroudsburg, Pa., whose body was found in a room of the Extended Stay America hotel, is pending toxicology tests, police said Friday.
Capt. James Ryan, a spokesman for the South Brunswick Police Department, said police are investigating if narcotics played a part in Eyer's death.

Ryan said officers were called to the hotel at 1:12 p.m. Thursday for a well-being check on Eyer and discovered him unresponsive. He said Eyer was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
