Jason Ali, a history teacher, was removed the classroom this week over this matter, the superintendent confirmed.

WOODBRIDGE -- A Woodbridge High School history teacher was removed from the classroom this week following an investigation by PIX11 News into links to articles on Sept. 11, 2001 conspiracy theories on his teacher page of the school's website.

Jason Ali is not currently teaching at the high school and the matter is currently under investigation by the district, Woodbridge Schools Superintendent Robert Zega told NJ Advance Media Thursday morning.

Links on Ali's supplemental materials have since been deleted, but screen shots show that two of the links correspond to articles on the Middle Eastern Research Institute's website. The website features several articles with anti-Semitic headlines and promotes Sept. 11 conspiracy theories on its 9-11 Documentation Project.

The two articles previously linked to on Ali's page have headlines of "U.S. Planned, Carried Out 9/11 Attacks - But Blames Others For Them," and "U.S. Planning 9/11-Style Attack Using ISIS In Early 2015 - Like It Did Using Al-Qaeda In 2001."

The links, the superintendent said, were not part of the school curriculum.

Zega said he's received some reaction from students over the matter, but hasn't yet received any reaction from parents.

Zega told PIX11 the district took "swift action" to remove the links after learning about them, and that if "the investigation proves out then the teacher will be disciplined severely."
