The driver suffered injuries that are not considered life threatening, police say.
SAYREVILLE -- A driver was taken to the hospital after crashing an SUV into the Rent-A-Wreck parking lot this weekend.
The car was badly damaged, police said Sunday morning. The driver hit several parked cars at the Route 9 car rental establishment.

Sayreville firefighters removed the driver, who was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital by the Sayreville Emergency Squad and Raritan Bay Medical Center paramedics, police said. The driver's injuries are not life threatening.
