NEW BRUNSWICK -- The main building of Queens College on the Rutgers University campus in New Brunswick is shown in this undated photo.

Old Queens, originally called the Queens Building, was erected in 1809. It was named after Charlotte Sophia, wife of England's King George III.

The building, home to the president's office, is the oldest extant building on campus.
