EDISON -- DogFest Walk 'n' Roll, a benefit event for Canine Companions for Independence, New Jersey Volunteer Chapter, raised more than $22,000 from activities at Roosevelt Park in Edison on Oct. 11.
Activities included a dog walk, pet costume parade and contest, an obedience competition and agility course demonstrations.
All proceeds benefited the group that provides trained assistance dogs to children and adults with disabilities.
