A Middlesex County man was critically injured in a motorcycle crash Friday morning.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK -- A Middlesex County man is in critical condition after his motorcycle collided with an SUV on Route 130, police said.
The man, whose name was not released, was traveling north on Route 130 near Stults Road at 6 a.m. when his Buell motorcycle collided with a Nissan Xterra traveling south on Route 130 and making a left onto Stults Road, according to police.
The man, described by authorities as in his 20s, was thrown from his motorcycle, police said.
He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
The man driving of the Nissan was not injured, officials said. His name was not released and no summonses have been issued at this time, pending an ongoing investigation.
Traffic in the area was slowed for about four hours.
