A Sky Zone employee has been arrested and a man remains at large in connection with the armed robbery of a South Plainfield trampoline park in late October.
SOUTH PLAINFIELD -- An employee at the Sky Zone Trampoline Park has been charged in connection with the armed robbery of the park in late October.
Police are also looking for Morris County man in connection with the robbery. Officials say he is armed and dangerous.
Monique Valentine, a 38-year-old Sky Zone employee from Linden, was arrested last week for allegedly conspiring to rob the park on Hadley Road with Jaime L. Horne, 40, of Florham Park, according to a statement from police.
Authorities said Valentine had aided Horne "in several ways the day of the robbery." However, the extent of her role was not clear.
Officials said that during the robbery, Horne, who was armed with a handgun, held an employee at gunpoint and demanded overnight cash deposits that totaled several thousand dollars, the statement said.
Valentine was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and hindering the apprehension of another. She was held at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center on an unspecified amount of bail.
Horne is currently wanted on a no-bail warrant on charges of robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and aggravated assault. Authorities said he is known to frequent the Newark area.
He was last seen driving a brown 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a New Jersey registration, G54GKE.
