None of the injuries appear to be significant
EDISON -- A medical transport van flipped over in Edison on Thursday morning near the intersection of Grove and McKinley avenues, though no serious injuries were reported, according to Edison police Lt. Robert Dudash.
The incident occurred just before 9:30 a.m. when Xiang M. Li, 55, of Edison, crashed his Mercedes Benz into the back of the van, according to a police statement. The van, driven by Anthony Kemp, 54, was making a left turn when it was hit and rolled over, the report said.
An 89-year-old Edison man in a wheelchair in the back of the van and driver were taken to JFK Medical Center for minor injuries.
Li was issued a summons for careless driving, police said.
