Craig Walker, 24, was on parole in Georgia.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK -- Officers arrested an alleged trespasser after a 45-minute chase Wednesday that started when a resident noticed him peering into her home, authorities said.
Craig Walker, 24, of Jones Drive, was charged with invasion of privacy, trespassing and obstruction of justice after the incident in the Princeton Walk development.
Police said that two different residents this week have seen a suspect in their back yards. Officers arrived at Crestone Circle Wednesday morning after the most recent report, and the suspect fled, police said. Officer Jesse Blake later caught up with him riding a bike, but he dropped it and fled again, police said.

Other officers arrived to set up a perimeter. After 45 minutes, Detective Dennis Yuhasz found Walker lying down in the tree line. Walker again tried to run, with Yuhasz and Officer Danny Rodriguez giving chase, police said, and Sergeant Donald Varga caught up with him.
Police said Walker is on parole in Georgia, and they're still trying to determine why he was allegedly peering into the homes -- in total, he entered five back yards in the Princeton Walk community, township police allege.
"His capture can put residents minds at ease as we still piece together his activity over the past week," South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka said in a written statement.
Walker was jailed on $12,500 bail.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Yuhasz at (732) 329-4000 ext. 7496.
