Dozens of storage units broken into at Route 1 facility, police say

Police are currently contacting the owner of the 43 storage units broken into. It was unclear what, if anything, was stolen

SOUTH BRUNSWICK -- Dozens of storage units at a Route 1 facility were broken into overnight, police said. 

South Brunswick police responded to the Public Storage location on the southbound side of the highway just after 8:30 a.m. after an employee showed up to worked and noticed the front gate was opened and windows to the office were broken, Capt. Jim Ryan said.

Police are currently contacting the owner of the 43 storage units broken into. It was unclear what, if anything, was stolen, according to Ryan.
