A senior citizen was rescued as he dangled from a second-floor window
OLD BRIDGE -- A three-alarm house fire in Old Bridge early Tuesday killed one person and injured another, according to reports.
A man, believed to be in his 90s, was rescued by firefighters as he dangled from a second floor window, WABC-7 reported. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for burns and smoke inhalation, PIX11.com said.
The person who died was found in the downstairs den of the Judy Court home.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the fire, which broke out around 1 a.m., the report said.
The fire started in the back, right side of the house, News 12 reported.
