PISCATAWAY -- A Brooklyn-based food packaging company is moving its operations into Middlesex County just off I-287, according to a report.
The New York company, Trans-Packers Service Corp., will move into a 93,482-square-foot industrial property on New Brunswick Avenue in Piscataway that was purchased by ACMY for $7.85 million, NJBiz reports.
Trans-Packers employs more than 120 union workers, and on occasion hires locals for temp work. The company blends and packages products for retail, institutional, industrial and military customers, according to its website.
