The 38-year-old from Edison face at least 15 years in prison
A 38-year-old New Jersey man already facing sexual assault charges has been convicted of production of child pornography.
Michael Janeski, of Edison, pleaded guilty Monday in a federal court in Harrisburg, Pa., the U.S. Attorney for the the Middle District of Pennsylvania said in a news release.
Janeski admitted that between November 2015 and February of 2016 he used an cell phone to coerce a minor into engaging in illegal sexual activity. The images were then placed on a cloud-based storage system.
He will be sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison.
Last year, Janeski was arrested on charges he raped a 14-year-old girl at a hotel in the York, Pa. area. The girl had previously been reported missing, authorities said.
Janeski allegedly used restraints to bind the victim before sexually assaulting her.
