Spotswood Middle School was evacuated for about an hour
SPOTSWOOD -- A bomb threat made over the internet to Memorial School turned out to be unfounded, officials said.
Spotswood police and the Middlesex County Sheriff's Department's canine units swept the middle school after school officials received the threat at 9:16 a.m.
Students were moved to nearby Spotswood High School while authorities investigated. Police completed the sweet at 10:15 a.m. and students returned to class.
State Police also assisted.
