The in-person town hall was scheduled for March 26 at 4 p.m. in Highland Park
HIGHLAND PARK -- U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. has announced a town hall for later this month to hear from his constituents in New Jersey's 6th District.
The in-person town hall will be held on March 26 at 4 p.m. in Highland Park's Senior/Youth Center.
"With so many pressing issues facing our nation, it is a priority of mine to make sure I am reaching out to my constituents and allowing their voices to be heard," said Pallone, a Democrat. "I look forward to having a respectful and productive conversation with my constituents about the future of New Jersey and our country."
Pallone used his guest ticket for President Donald Trump's speech to the joint session of Congress Tuesday to highlight one of his disagreements with the current administration's agenda by bringing a constituent who has health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP online. Those without internet can call the congressman's Long Branch office at (732) 571-1140. The Democratic congressman asked for input on Twitter on when he should hold the town hall.
Pallone's fellow congressmen on the Republican side of the aisle have been met with a boisterous response at their recent town halls, including Leonard Lance (R-7th Dist.).
