A suspect allegedly robbed a Perth Amboy gas station with a knife.
PERTH AMBOY -- Police are seeking a man who robbed a Speedway gas station while armed with a knife early Monday.
The robber demanded cash from the gas station attendant around 3:30 a.m. at the Speedway on Convery Boulevard, police said.
The man then fled the gas station and headed west onto Harrington Street. No one was injured, officials said.
The man is described as olive skinned in his late 20s to early 30s with a beard and mustache. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a black vest, a camouflage baseball cap, black pants, black sneakers and white socks.
Police are asking that anyone who has information about the incident to contact the police department at 732-324-3828.
