A crash on Route 1 south in Plainsboro is causing major traffic tie-ups in the area on Tuesday afternoon. PLAINSBORO -- Multiple people were injured in a crash along Route 1 south Tuesday afternoon, state transportation officials said.
All southbound lanes are closed and traffic is inching by on the shoulder as of 2:25 p.m. following the crash near College Road in Plainsboro.
Police in nearby South Brunswick say motorists should expect heavy traffic and major delays south of Ridge Road in as the evening rush approaches.
Plainsboro police didn't immediately respond to a request from NJ Advance Media for additional information.
