The robber had a mask covering most of his face when he hit the Old Bridge Dunkin' Donuts

OLD BRIDGE -- Township police are asking for the public's help in capturing a man they say robbed a local Dunkin' Donuts while armed with a knife over the weekend.

The robbery occurred at 7:47 p.m. Saturday when a man walked into the Dunkin' Donuts in the Laurence Harbor section of town and pulled a knife on an employee, Old Bridge police said in a release.

The man climbed over the counter and snatched cash from the register before taking off on foot down Route 35, police said.

Police described the suspect as a white man wearing a black baseball hat and a black mask covering most of his face. The man was also wearing a camo hoodie with a NY Giants vest over the sweatshirt and black shoes with red soles.
