N.J. woman missing more than a week has been found, family says

The Woodbridge woman missing since mid-March has been found.

WOODBRIDGE -- The Woodbridge woman who had been missing for more than a week has been found, according to a family members on social media.

Jessica Stevenson, 27, who lives in Woodbridge but grew up in Bayonne, was found last week, according to Stevenson's sister, Candice Stevenson, in a Facebook post.

In her post, Candice Stevenson thanked all those who helped in the search. She added, "My family and I ask for privacy at this time and once again I can't thank everyone enough."

It is unclear at this time where Jessica Stevenson was found.

Woodbridge police previously said that they were assisting in the search but that the Bayonne Police Department was heading the investigation.

Bayonne and Woodbridge police were not available for comment Thursday evening.
