Construction crews will be installing guardrails on ramps from Route 18 to Route 1 beginning tonight, Nov. 9, 2015, and continuing for the next two or three nights, leading to ramp closures and detours, according to East Brunswick police.
The ramps from Rt. 18 to 1 will be closed starting tonight, Nov. 9, 2015, and lasting two to three nights, for guardrail installation, East Brunswick police said. EAST BRUNSWICK -- Construction crews will be installing guardrails on ramps from Route 18 to Route 1 beginning tonight, Nov. 9, 2015, and continuing for the next two or three nights, leading to ramp closures and detours, according to East Brunswick police.
Police said the closures will begin at 10 p.m. and last until 5 a.m. and recommend that motorists find alternative routes of accessing Route 1 from Route 18 both north and southbound.
The construction project, designed to replace the Route 18 bridges and ramps over Route 1 affects East Brunswick and New Brunswick.
