The Sigma Chi chapter at Rutgers University hosted its 25th annual Derby Days Philanthropy Week last month and raised more than $220,000 for Children's Specialized Hospital through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
NEW BRUNSWICK -- The Sigma Chi chapter at Rutgers University hosted its 25th annual Derby Days Philanthropy Week last month and raised more than $220,000 for Children's Specialized Hospital through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
The event, which broke a Derby Days previous record of $191,000, involved eight participating Greek organizations that competed against each other in various events, including a field day, auction, Uber challenge, game night and a lip sync dance competition.
The Zeta Tau Alpha sorority broke the record for the highest amount raised by a single team. ZTA raised $48,902, which surpassed the previous record of $42,798.
