SOUTH PLAINFIELD -- The Motor Vehicle Commission office in South Plainfield is back open Tuesday after an evacuation, an official said.
Mairin Bellack, a spokeswoman for the MVC, said that the evacuation occurred at about 4:05 p.m. at the Oak Tree Avenue facility.
Within about an hour, the location was back open. It will be open until 7:30 p.m.
Borough police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
