State Police advising motorists to expect delays
CRANBURY -- State Police are investigating a "serious motor vehicle crash" on the New Jersey Turnpike Thursday night, the agency said.
A spokesman, Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams, confirmed that a female had been killed and others had been injured. Three cars were involved in the crash, Williams also said.
Little additional information was immediately available about the accident, which occurred northbound around 8 p.m.

Traffic near mile marker 70.6, near Exit 8, was being diverted to the inner car lanes as first responders worked the scene. Motorists were being told to expected heavy delays.
