Heavy rain is flooding roads in New Jersey Sunday. (Accuweather) Flooding from heavy rain closed a few roads in central New Jersey on Sunday morning.
The New Brunswick Police Department reported that Joyce Kilmer Avenue and Charles Street were closed. The College Avenue ramp to Route 18 North was also closed, the department said.
The overpass on Cranbury Road that leads into South River is closed from Route 18 South and Summerhill Road, East Brunswick police reported.
The entire state was under a flood advisory Sunday morning, and flooding closed lanes on several highways.
