SOUTH AMBOY -- Police have released the identity of a man whose body was recovered Saturday.
John Licknack, 50, of Linden, is believed to have jumped off the Driscoll Bridge on Dec. 14, police said.
On Saturday, a man walking on the beach in South Amboy found the body of Licknack in the sand. Licknack was later identified by the Middlesex County medical examiner, police said.

In recent years, Perth Amboy officials have put up fences on one of the bridges spanning the Raritan River.
