The New Jersey Folk Festival on the Rutgers University campus is the oldest continuously run folk festival in the state.

Started the previous year, it is the oldest continuously run folk festival in New Jersey and takes place annually on the great lawn of the Eagleton Institute of Politics on the Douglass Campus.
