The lucky $2 million winner made his or her purchase at Wawa on Springside Road in Westampton, Burlington County, state lottery officials said this morning. It's worth an extra $1 million because the buyer spent an extra $1 to exercise the Powerplay option.
Meanwhile, someone who played at 7-Eleven on Buckelew Avenue in Jamesburg won $1 million.
The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night were: 8, 27, 34, 4, 19. The Powerball was 10 with a Powerplay of 2x.
There were five $1 million tickets sold in New York and another three in Pennsylvania. In all, 81 tickets sold across the country matched five numbers.

Jackpot winning tickets were sold in California, Tennessee and Florida.
Nineteen consecutive drawings had passed without a first-prize winner since a $144.1 million jackpot was won in Tennessee on Nov. 4, 2015.
