SOUTH PLAINFIELD -- A South Plainfield woman is facing several charges after she allegedly was involved in an accident Sunday evening that involved several vehicles and ended after she struck a house.
Police said Michelle Wyber, 43, was driving a Chevrolet Traverse that was traveling west on South 11th Street at 6:07 p.m. when disregarded a stop sign, colliding with a Jeep Cherokee traveling north on New Brunswick Avenue. The crash caused the Jeep to overturn and collide with a Honda Accord that was traveling south on New Brunswick Avenue, police said, adding the Traverse fled the scene.
Authorities said the Chevrolet then struck a parked vehicle on Cherry Street and crashed into a shed in the rear of 1704 Clinton Avenue before coming to rest after striking the house at the same address.

She was released on a summons, according to Officer Joseph Glowacki, who is investigating the accident.
Police said the driver of the Jeep, who is 26 and from South Plainfield, was taken to John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison where he was treated and released. The driver of the Honda, age 24, of Plainfield, was not injured in the crash, police said.
