Buddy would make a good pet for any family able to care for a large dog.
EAST BRUNSWICK -- Buddy is a 5-year-old Labrador mix in the care of New Beginnings Animal Rescue.
Adopted as a puppy, he had to be returned more than four years later after a child in his home developed severe asthma.
The 100-pound Buddy is playful but "very well trained." According to the rescue group, he would make a good pet for any family able to care for a large dog.
He is housebroken, has been neutered and is up-to-date on shots.
For more information on Buddy, call 732-238-1348 or email info@newbeginningsanimalrescuenj.org. New Beginnings, an all-volunteer group finding new homes for pets in Middlesex County, is currently caring for 34 cats and five dogs.
