NEW BRUNSWICK -- The Rutgers University Police Department is looking for the person who allegedly groped a female student on a campus bus Monday about 5 p.m.
Police put out a statement saying the student reported being touched on the thigh and buttocks while standing on the crowded bus which was on George Street traveling between campuses in New Brunswick. The person being sought exited the bus when it reached the area of George Street and Commercial Avenue, police said.

Police said the student was not physically injured and described the man sought as about 20 years old, 5-feet-4-inches tall, wearing a black hat, glasses, brown jacket with white fleece-lined hood, jeans and carrying an umbrella.
Anyone with information or many have been in the area at the time is asked to call the Rutgers University Police Department's detective bureau at 1-848-932-8025.
