SOUTH BRUNSWICK -- Many people might question how thoroughly they have to clean ice and snow off their cars to avoid $75 fines and keep in compliance with New Jersey law.
One potential benchmark: Better than this driver.
"NO it is not okay to drive your truck with this much snow on it," police said of a North Bergen truck driver who was issued four tickets on Route 32 Thursday morning -- four days after a massive snowstorm -- for a large amount of snow allegedly still on his roof.
The snow was so deep that the trucker had to walk on it and shovel it off, police said.

It nearly clipped nearby power wires, which might have sent snow cascading onto the cruiser that pulled over the driver.

Alberto Dillate-Correa, of North Bergen, was ticketed for careless driving, obstructing traffic, failure to remove snow and a height restriction over 13.5 feet.
Dillate-Correa was driving for Alpavi Trucking, which did not respond to a request for comment.
