Authorities say the operators transported prostitutes and cash between New York City and the Princeton massage parlor.

PLAINSBORO -- Authorities have arrested and charged five as part of an investigation into a local prostitution ring, according to a released statement.

Investigators with the Plainsboro Police Department and Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office arrested Yan Sipasseuth, 54, of Edison, Siew Hong Tan, 52, of New York, and Pintg Chen, 56, of Brooklyn on February 12, said Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office spokesman James O'Neill in the statement.

All three now face multiple prostitution-related charges for their alleged involvement in the ring, which investigators found operating out of the Zen Health Center, a Princeton massage parlor, O'Neill said.

Both Chen and Sipasseuth, who authorities have identified as the owner of the facility, have been charged with one count of promoting prostitution, O'Neill said.

Tan, who authorities said allegedly transported the prostitutes working out of the massage parlor, now faces two counts of promoting prostitution, O'Neill said.

Investigators also arrested two women on charges of engaging in prostitution. Their names and ages have yet to be determined, O'Neill said.

As part of the investigation, police seized $8,000 in cash and bank accounts, along with a 2014 Land Rover that was used to transport prostitutes from New York to Plainsboro, O'Neill said.

An investigation of the alleged prostitution ring is ongoing, O'Neill said.
