A 17-year-old Perth Amboy boy has been reported missing.
PERTH AMBOY TWP. -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 17-year-old boy reported missing on Friday, and whose life may be threatened.
Alfredo Rivera, of Perth Amboy, who goes also goes by "Al Swift," was last seen by his mother at their home at around 9 p.m. on Friday, police said in a statement.
According to authorities, there may be a "possible threat to life or property."
Rivera -- who is 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, was last seen wearing black sweat pants with black and red shorts underneath, and a black striped shirt, officials said.
He is known to frequent Harbortown and the Hall Avenue area of Perth Amboy and South River.
Anyone with information that could lead to safely finding Rivera is asked to call 911 or contact the Perth Amboy Police Department at 732-422-4400.
