Powerball jackpot closes in on $300M after nobody picks the winning numbers on February 27
PARSIPPANY -- One of three million-dollar tickets sold in Saturday's Powerball drawing was purchased at Lake Parsippany General Store on Kingston Road, state lottery officials said Monday morning.
The ticket sold in Morris County over the weekend matched five numbers but not the Powerball. One ticket each was sold in Wisconsin and Texas also good for the million-dollar prize in Saturday's drawing.
The winning numbers for Saturday's drawing were 10, 11, 21, 22 and 53. The Powerball was 18. The jackpot is expected to be at $292 million by the next drawing Wednesday night.
No Powerball winner since $1.6B jackpot
The Garden State also had a number of other big winners, with three tickets sold matching four white balls and the Powewrball -- good for a $50,000 prize.
Those tickets were purchased at Hanh Van LLC, 117 Brunswick St., Jersey City; Street Corner News, 755 Rt. 18 So., East Brunswick; and, Quick Chek #40, 150 Rt. 206, Chester.
