EAST BRUNSWICK -- Police are looking for a man suspected in a strong-arm robbery at a Speedway Gas Station last week.
The gas station attendant at the Speedway on Route 18 told police that at around midnight on Friday, the suspect "came up from behind him as he exited the booth" and then punched him in the face, "knocked him down to the ground and demanded" money, according to a statement from police on Monday.
The suspect "removed an undetermined amount of money from the attendants pockets and fled south on Route 18 on foot on the northbound side," the statement said.
Police only had a limited description of the suspect at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Crispin Farrace, of the East Brunswick Police Department's Investigative Division, at 732-390-6990.
