MILLTOWN -- A 32-year-old New Brunswick man was arrested Monday night after being found with 36 bags of suspected cocaine, 128 bags of suspected heroin, an unknown amount of Suboxone strips and $1,400 in cash, according to police in a statement.

Kevin Hagood was arrested in the parking lot of a Home Depot in Milltown and charged with possession with intent to distribute both cocaine and heroin, police said.

Hagood, who was driving a 2012 Honda Pilot, was also charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of controlled dangerous substances within a motor vehicle, according to officials.

He was held to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center with bail set at $35,000.

"We are committed to stopping the illegal sales of controlled dangerous substances and will continue to work hard to protect our Borough and our residents," police said in the statement.
