The resident saw someone running way, but couldn't catch up.
NORTH BRUNSWICK -- Detectives and the Fire Marshal's Office are investigating an early-morning car fire Wednesday in North Brunswick.
Police said in a Facebook posting that a Stevens Street resident looked outside at 4 a.m. to see a car in the driveway on fire. The resident saw someone running from the scene, and tried to chase the suspect down, but was unsuccessful.
Police arrived on scene and the car was engulfed in flames.
Nobody was injured, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
