SOUTH BRUNSWICK -- A 55-year-old man was struck and killed by a truck in a parking lot near a South Brunswick warehouse Wednesday morning, police said.
Linwood Moore, 55, of Monroe Township, was pronounced dead at the scene after officers arrived just after 6 a.m., police said.
Moore was walking in the lot toward the Argix Direct warehouse on Middlesex Center Boulevard when he was hit by a 1999 Freightliner driven by Danhel Moran-Perez, 40, of East Brunswick, police said.
No summonses have been issued as of Wednesday afternoon, police said. The Middlesex County prosecutor's office and state police are helping township police investigate.
