It was Plainsboro's second house fire in five days.
PLAINSBORO -- Plainsboro firefighters battled a residential fire Monday for the second time in five days.
The 1:30 p.m. fire at the Addison Apartment Development on Pheasant Hollow Drive went to one full alarm.
The flames erupted in an apartment before spreading to two surrounding apartments said Wagner. The adjoining units suffered light damage.
The Plainsboro and West Windsor fire companies had to divert some units from a brush fire off of Scudders Mill Road, where they and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service were battling another blaze at the time.
"It was brought under control in about half an hour," Plainsboro Fire Company Chief Brian Wagner said.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
Plainsboro police, the Plainsboro Rescue Squad and Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad were on the scene as well.
