PISCATAWAY -- A power outage halted a men's soccer game at Yurcak Field on the Rutgers University Busch campus Saturday night.
The Rutgers men's soccer team was playing Penn State when the outage hit, according to the Rutgers University team's Twitter account.
Reports of outage were posted on Twitter shortly after 8 p.m.
"Play has been delayed due to power outage at Rutgers," a post on the Penn State Soccer Twitter also account said around 8:30 p.m.
The cause of the outage was not yet clear.
PSE&G spokeswoman Brooke Fisher said the utility company had not been notified of an outage at the field.
